Their name is still the California State Automobile Association.

[edit]

According to their website, (specifically the "What to call us" section of this page, they are still known as California State Automobile Association, among other names. I'm adjusting copy to compensate. --Rickscholz --Rickscholz (talk) 01:05, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name has changed

[edit]

As of late 2014, the webpage referenced above no longer exists. The new page (http://calstate.aaa.com/about-aaa/quick-facts -- note: link might only be accessible in N. CA, NV, and UT) says the following:

What to Call Us:
Regionally, we prefer to be identified as one of the following: AAA Northern California, AAA Nevada or AAA Utah. The name “American Automobile Association” is no longer used, simply “AAA.” Historically, we were known as the California State Automobile Association; however, that name is no longer used.

However, the copyright info at the bottom states © Copyright 1996-2013, AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah.

Shouldn't this article be renamed to AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah with a reference to the historical name?
