Merge two pages

[edit]

There are two pages with the same text: 24/7 Customer and 24 7 inc. I suggest the pages merge. The company is called 24/7 Customer[1].

[24]7 Inc., was formerly 24/7 Customer. The company officially dropped the 'Customer' from the name for business reasons in February 2012. The old domain name www.247customer.com now re-directs to the new one - www.247-inc.com. Prior to the name change /wiki/24/7_Customer was the wiki profile, and /wiki/24_7_inc is the recent wiki profile. I am a newbie with Wikipedia, so any suggestions / actions to merge these profiles are welcome. The correct approach is to re-direct http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24/7_Customer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_7_inc. Since /wiki/24_7_inc represents the official company name, it should be retained. The reference given above is an old one. Below are more recent articles that provides latest company information: http://www.forbes.com/companies/24-7/ http://jtonedm.com/2013/07/08/first-look-247/ (Mel2000in (talk) 14:38, 7 October 2013 (UTC))[reply]

Agreed we clearly need to merge, long overdue. It does seem the "24/7 Customer" is still the official name of the company, it was just the web site and trademark that changed. So arguments can be made to go each direction. I would lean to 24/7 Customer since the logo has square brackets in it, and there might be no entity known as "24 7 inc" with the space instead of bracket, lower case "I" and no period to indicate it is short for "Incorporated". So the name of this page is wrong on several counts. W Nowicki (talk) 16:32, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
