LeisureWorld pool and fitness centre (including the Sam Allen astroturf pitches) is close-by on Knockfree Avenue. There is also a recreational area in Jerry O'Sullivan Park on St. Colmcille's Road.[7] A community gardening project adjoins this park.[8]

St. Mary's Health Campus, run by the Mercy University Hospital, is the location of an urgent care centre in Gurranabraher.[9][10]
