From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some infectious agents are linked to increased risk of cancer in their host organisms. The articles in this category pertain to such infectious agents, the vaccines that prevent infection by these agents, the names of the cancers linked to, associated with, caused by and/or have an increased risk of developing from these infectious agents. Articles that describe the major and notable researchers associated with the discovery of the links between infectious agents, including Nobel Prize recipients should also be included. Diagnostic tests that determine the presence of these infectious agents should be part of this category. Articles that describe the prevention of acquiring these infections are also appropriate.
