The 2024 IIHF World Championship Division II is two international ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation.[1]

The Group A tournament was held in Belgrade, Serbia, from 21 to 27 April and the Group B tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 22 to 28 April 2024.[2][3]

Croatia won Group A and got promoted to Division I, while Iceland was relegated.[4] Group B was won by Belgium and saw Turkey getting relegated.[5]

The IIHF temporarily indicated that Israel would not participate,[6] but two days later clarified that they will consider their participation in upcoming tournaments on a case by case basis.[7][8]
