Caleb Mason is an author living in Maine who has written The Isles of Shoals Remembered (Tuttle, 1992) Goodreads and novels under the pen name Don Trowden including Normal Family (2012) Publerati No One Ran to the Altar (2016) Book Review, All the Lies We Live (2018), and Young Again (2022), the latter co-authored with Valerie McKee.

Mason began his career as a bookseller and then went on to work at Little, Brown and Company. Following this, he helped launch the start-up book publisher Salem House, which was eventually merged into the newly formed HarperCollins in 1989. Subsequently he worked in the early days of digital photography and then digital mapping and GPS.
