Hello, I'm Belbury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Colin the Caterpillar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 20:19, 2 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear Belbury,
I understand your reasoning for removing my addition, however, the gentleman I refer to is my grandfather and I have documentation to prove that he named and created Colin the Caterpillar.
He held numerous senior positions within the British food manufacturing industry, including one where he presided over the creation and the naming of Colin the Caterpillar cake in order to gain a contract with M&S for their cake production.
I would be grateful for some advice on how to ensure this remains as this is very important to me that my grandfather is recognised for his part in Colin the Caterpillar.
Kind regards,

It just needs a secondary source to confirm it per Wikipedia:Verifiability - a newspaper article, a mention in a book about the industry, etc. Belbury (talk) 08:06, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
