CEO of CARÁ Health - Estonian HealthTech Startup of 2023 | Innovating in Female Health and Well-being | Advocate for Digitalisation in Maternity Care
Two years ago, Carina Vantsi, Keiro Vantsi, and I realized that the concept we created with CARA had high scalability potential. On our way to and from the office, we would listen to various podcasts, including The Pursuit of Scrappiness Podcast, learning and being inspired by the best founders from the Baltics. And in my case, also listening to the Fast & Curious Podcast from Lea-Sophie Cramer and Verena Pausder. During one ride to the office, Verena and Lea mentioned in their podcast how inspired they were by Estonia and how Germany could learn many things from it. They were eager to visit, so I wrote them an email, and a few months later, they arrived in Tallinn together with Lili Vogelsang. Now, two years later, after CARÁ Health's expansion into Germany, we hosted an event for Lea's new life chapter in our CARÁ Berlin Space. You can hear all about it in the latest episode of their podcast! I guess the two biggest lessons here are to grab the chance and reach out to people, and you'll always see each other a second time! 🤍 https://lnkd.in/dKbnufuH

We are super happy to announce our official partnership with Stebby! This collaboration enables us to provide more women and families with evidence-based health and wellbeing services, supported by their employers, throughout the maternity period 🤰 In Estonia, where insurances do not cover postpartum home visits, our partnership with Stebby is especially impactful, as it allows more women and families to access this essential service 👶

Ever since launching our app in Estonian a year ago, it has been constantly ranking at the top of the category "Top Free Medical App" in Estonia. This underlines the constant need for a tool to support women and families during the maternity phase. The app is especially a major enabler for every woman outside of Tallinn and Tartu, to join our virtual services and classes from wherever she may be located. Of course, we have been improving the app ever since the launch and are super excited about some new features dropping soon! 🚀

Together for a Healthier Tomorrow 🤍 This May, we are honored to partner with incredible brands led by visionary Estonian female entrepreneurs to support a cause close to our hearts—the Estonian Cancer Society. We are extremely proud to have Carina Vantsi as the face of CARÁ joining this campaign. We joined forces with Placent Activ, Tassikoogid, Silma Retreat, Symmetrista, Babor Beauty Spa, CARÁ, Happy Aging, Muuni, Malino Beauty Studio, and portail.ee. Each of these brands is stepping up to contribute to the fight against breast cancer, a disease that affects approximately 900 women annually in Estonia. The raised funds will help fund vital research and support services for those affected by breast cancer. We believe in the power of community and collective action. Your support, whether big or small, makes a difference. Reflect, support, and let's stand strong together! 🤍
