Aiming to provide users with a fresh desktop experience, ScreenPlay serves as an open-source alternative to popular customization solutions like Wallpaper Engine. It features a diverse collection of static and live wallpapers, with easy access to additional content through Steam Workshop integration or user uploads. The software also allows users to monitor core system stats such as CPU, RAM, and Storage through customizable widgets created with the built-in QML widget wizard, although GPU and Network monitoring are currently not supported.
