I bought the iPhone 14 pro max brand new dual nano sim but my model number shows A2651 which is USA model number variant not Hong Kong that supports physical dual sim, I’m aware USA variants only support Esim, is my phone fake? I’m just skeptical. Hope to get a reply or an explanation.

You either have a very unique iPhone 14 Pro Max, or a counterfeit.
If you purchased this grey market or used, who knows what it might be.
Check the serial and EID/IMEI in Settings > General > About, and verify the same serial number and EID/IMEI also show up in the Devices column in the left navigation of https://AppleID.Apple.Com when signed into the same Apple ID in both places.
Test whether Siri is working. That’s quite Apple specific:
If any of the built-in apps or services prompt for a Google login, or offer access to the Google Play Store, it’s not an Apple iPhone.
If you’re still stuck, make an appointment at Apple, and bring it in for a look.
Where did you buy the phone?
Did you buy from an authorized Apple seller? You can find a list of authorized sellers near you using this link:
Otherwise, you can do a search if you know where the seller was located.
What info appears if you tap Settings > General > About > Coverage or it might say AppleCare?
Is there anything that appears under Parts and Service History? If yes, what is it?
So far, it looks like the phone was manufactured for sale in China, but a dealer in China shipped the phone to an outlet in the U.S. who played around with the model number and who knows what else.
Even if the phone turns out to be legit.....sort of.....I would return it for a refund, because you will likely be denied service on the phone if needed.
