Der Innovationspreis für langjährige herausragende Jury-Mitarbeit geht an Stephan Engert 🏆 Der Herausgeber der Fachzeitschrift bauelemente bau wird nach seiner fast 30-jährigen Tätigkeit für den Verlag für Fachpublizistik GmbH in den Ruhestand gehen. Das R+T Projektteam ließ es sich nicht nehmen, ihm persönlich für die gute Zusammenarbeit und sein Engagement in der Jury des R+T Innovationspreises zu danken. New Technical Coordinator: Björn Kuhnke took up the position of Technical Coordinator at IVRSA (Industrievereinigung Rollladen - Sonnenschutz - Automation e.V.) on June 1, 2024. Due to his background as a graduate civil engineer, he has extensive experience in the field of construction in general and sun shading in particular. Björn Kuhnke, who previously worked for 7 years at BVRS (Bundesverband Rollladen + Sonnenschutz), is a proven industry expert. Thanks to his previous work as a specialist planner in building physics, he is ideally qualified for this new challenge. Particularly in the areas of energy efficiency, noise and structural damage, the expert not only has theoretical knowledge, but also extensive practical experience. "I'm really looking forward to this new job. The focus of my work will be to bring the topics of sustainability, energy efficiency and the optimization of the building envelope through solar shading solutions to the forefront of our association's work even more than in the past," says Björn Kuhnke. Philipp Götz was ‘on tour’ at the ift Rosenheim 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 at KU'KO, Rosenheim. Many of the presentations focussed on sustainability 🌍. Topics such as ‘Climate-safe construction with doors and gates’, ‘Climate resilience - defying extreme weather conditions’ as well as the topics of digitalisation, standards and security were not neglected. Thanks for a great traditional Bavarian evening event in the picturesque Hohenaschau Castle with delicious snacks, crusty roast and bread dumplings and, of course, lots of good and interesting discussions. An all-round successful event with interesting input, knowledge transfer and great contacts.
