Responsibilities

• Coordinating all procurement activities for all components within the scope of new product development projects until series production starts.
• Obtain quotations and conduct technical and commercial evaluations for all components in the project.
• Conduct supplier selection for all components in the project and lead price negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with project management and R&D regarding feasibility, effort, costs, and time planning.
• Take over management for product changes / re-design (phase in - phase out). Implement cost optimization measures during the product development process.
  
  

Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in technical business administration or as an industrial engineer or a comparable field of study or equivalent education.
• Professional experience in internationally oriented procurement of electronic and electromechanical components. Ideally, already have knowledge of markets, suppliers, and manufacturers of electronic components.
• You are a skilled negotiator and have a professional manner in dealing with internal and external stakeholders; your communication skills are convincing.
• Additionally, you bring pronounced intercultural competence. Your proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is routine.
• You are fluent in German and English
