About The Role

Our application engineers are the central system experts within our Global Sales and Marketing organization. With a focus on Automotive Electrification applications, this role provides our account teams with application value propositions and trainings for the full Nexperia portfolio including Power Semiconductors and Modules. Furthermore, this position provides customers with system level technical support as well as our business groups with key products requirements for the relevant applications. This role requires strong relationships with sales, business groups as well as to become a trusted advisor for our customers

What you will do

• Analyse block diagrams and schematics for key applications within vehicle electrification to gain deeper understanding of application features, trends and benefits and become the Automotive Electrification applications expert at Nexperia
• Stay informed and share information about competitive products and technologies in dedicated applications such as Traction Inverter, OBCs, DCDC Converters, E-Axles, BMS, etc.
• Translate todays and future systems requirements into product specifications for our product roadmaps within the different business groups
• Promote the product value (strengths versus competitive products) and quantify the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia solutions to our customer base
• Create collaterals jointly with colleagues from business development and business groups to provide technical application training to sales and Field Application Engineers
• Manage application specific design-in promotional campaigns to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and a timely flow of information to all necessary stakeholders
• Support the preparation of white papers and blogs for focused applications and represent Nexperia at various conferences/exhibitions
  
  
  

What you will need

• Education in Engineering preferably Master Degree
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in High Voltage/Power Semiconductors
• Regular domestic and International travelling worldwide (based on company travel guidelines)
• Technical experience related to Automotive High Power applications: Traction Inverters, OBCs, DCDC Converters, E-Axles, BMS, etc.
• Work experience in High Power Electronics preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills and structured work approach
• Interpret schematic diagrams, circuit simulation, PCB design, etc.
• Strong customer focus and service orientation
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven and proactive
• Intercultural awareness and ability to work in international teams
• English business fluent. German is a plus
