SIMCA online is a real-time process monitoring software that gives early warnings about the drifts of a cultured batch from its optimal operating conditions - before it has a chance to affect the product quality or yield. It’s exciting as we can easily visualise and interpret the behavior of all the processes and historical data at glance and could decipher process control data with just few clicks.

Responsibilities:

Development of PI Systems and Global SIMCA Online Servers

• Support the development of Models for the qualification of SIMCA Online
• Setup configurations for SIMCA online models and set executions conditions.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies observed in SIMCA online models.
• Strong knowledge on SIMCA online Plots overview (BEM and BLM), Product batch data, audit trials, Alarms data management and organization.
• Experience in troubleshooting of the PI System
• Strong technical knowledge of – PI system architecture, PI System administration -Tag creations, server administration, Security Setup, Interface, and Network troubleshooting.
• Experienced with PI server (installation, configuration, Upgrades, migration), PI-OPC DA Interface, PI Datalink, PI Process Book, PI Asset Framework and PI Notifications
• Follow Good documentation practice (GDP) in all assigned tasks.
• Draft Validation documents for installation and operational qualification
• Draft Design specifications and User requirements
• Works with clients to understand, agree and implement technical requirements.
• Liaise with both Business and IT to complete project milestones.
• Complete internal trainings in batch models and Data analytics
• Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for SIMCA project as well as define testing methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Support the execution of test documentation & protocols as part of project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, or related field to Life Sciences.
• Strong technical and management experience in a (Bio)Pharma/Manufacturing facility
• Hands on experience with SIMCA- Online application and OSIsoft PI systems.
• IT Systems Technical Leadership/Project Management in Pharmaceutical Industry or other FMCG.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of GxP, QMS, CAPA, Change Controls, CSV, etc.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Handle and operate efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent English, German is a plus
