Your team:

The Sales Operations team is part of the sales organization of Statista. We support more than 300 employees from the Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Marketing, and Customer Service departments. Our tasks include analyzing sales data, forecasting, and the constant monitoring of KPIs. Not only do we strive to support our global Sales team on a daily basis by optimizing processes, but we are also responsible for the sales tools and systems, with Salesforce as our main CRM Tool.


As a Sales Operations Analyst (m/f/d) in our Strategy and Analytics department, you will be instrumental in extracting data-driven insights that help our Sales Teams and Management to drive revenue and growth across our platform business and take fact-based decisions. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the path of our newly formed team and contribute to establishing its core processes.


Tasks:

  • Design, develop, and enhance insightful PowerBI reports and dashboards derived from our data warehouse
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to support Sales, Lead Management, and Client Success teams, providing actionable insights
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Define and align relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) along the Sales and Customer Lifecycle
  • Actively contribute to the development and refinement of the data model in our Redshift data warehouse
  • Engage with stakeholders across all levels to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project objectives and metrics


Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar field
  • 2-3 years of working experience in a similar position
  • Very good knowledge in SQL and experience in working with data warehouses like Redshift
  • Proven experience with PowerBI or equivalent dashboarding tools as well as secure handling of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Good skills in Excel (for example pivot tables, vlookups)
  • First experience in data modelling with DBT or knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights from data
