Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

Focus will be on

• Proactively driving procurement activities and opportunities in the DACH cluster through strategic business partnering and engagement with stakeholders
• Prepare and execute negotiations to secure best Total Cost of Ownership contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers
• Identify and implement innovative procurement strategies by staying abreast of market trends, conducting Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and risk analysis
• Take ownership of cluster procurement initiatives aligned with business objectives, such as supplier consolidation, sustainable practices, and efficient buying approaches
• Collaborate extensively with global procurement teams, translating and executing global category management strategies into local objectives
  
  

Qualification requires

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in management with a specialization in Procurement
• Extensive Procurement experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including strategic and operational procurement in a matrix environment
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead projects independently, delivering competitive advantage to the business
• Proven track record of influencing, challenging, and driving business change effectively
• Strong proficiency in category management, including the development of strategies with cross-functional teams
• Expert proficiency in SAP Ariba and MS Office software
• Demonstrated successful use of risk management and supplier relationship management
• Ability to influence and negotiate optimal agreement
• Outstanding communication and project management capabilities
• Fluent in German and English
