The Senior Financial Controller is responsible for supervising the budget and analyzing costs and closings.
Responsibilities
Support activities within a month-end closing process and ensure timely delivery
Perform regular and ad-hoc business and financial analyses
Support the preparation of management presentations
Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual management and Group reporting for senior executives and board
Preparation and filing of all tax returns worldwide
Developing and implementing an appropriate control structure
Supporting other initiatives as needed.
Requirements
University degree in the fields of Business Administration or comparable qualification
5+ years’ work experience in the field of controlling or accounting
Expert knowledge about accounting matters
Good grasp of numbers and strong analytical skills
Excellent knowledge of software, in particular MS Office, knowledge of SAP FI/CO/MM/HCM would be an advantage.
Precise, quick and proactive working methods when under pressure
Dedicated team player with great interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills throughout all hierarchy levels and through all channels
Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
