Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Berlin as a Senior Business Analyst and play a key role in shaping the future of our company. You will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure that system requirements are clearly defined and that the delivered solutions meet business needs effectively.

This role involves understanding business capabilities, eliciting and documenting requirements, setting priorities, assisting with implementation, supporting the acceptance of deliverables, and guiding their integration into daily operations.

Your responsibilities 🎯 :


  • Requirements Gathering: Capture functional requirements using a variety of techniques to elicit latent needs, test their validity, resolve conflicts, and guide prioritization.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed requirements or functional specification documents, including essential non-functional elements and consideration of existing system components or data interfaces.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders continuously to receive feedback and input
  • User Acceptance Testing: Guide users in preparing for and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support Implementation: Assist other colleagues throughout the solution assessment and implementation lifecycle, including feasibility studies, fit-gap analyses, developer briefings, and the development of training materials and user documentation.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Aid in knowledge transfer and handover to operation and support organizations.


Your profile 🔥:


  • Strong business/client engagement skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with subject matter experts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and efficiency in a multicultural environment.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to rapidly gather and consolidate information from multiple sources.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to produce high-standard documentation.
  • Proficiency in creating user stories, UML diagrams, wireframes, report mock-ups, and other tools for validating requirements.
  • Familiarity with IT processes for project management, change management, and the system development lifecycle.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with international, multicultural, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, flexible, resourceful, and able to work independently.
  • High competence with MS Office and MS Visio.


IT Skills:


  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps or Jira
  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint
