Senior Accountant

Our client, an international apparel brand, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Germany.

YOUR TALENT

• Business administration degree, ideally with a focus on accounting and/or controlling, alternatively further education as a certified accountant with relevant professional experience
• 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Good SAP knowledge and proficient use of MS Office applications
• Good German and English language skills
• Independent and team-oriented work style
• High degree of communication skills, commitment, initiative, and flexibility

YOUR MISSION

• Independent preparation and validation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and local accounting standards
• Close collaboration and competent point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation of data for group reporting
• Creation of analytical target-actual comparisons
• Assessment and processing of tax-relevant transactions including VAT advance returns and support during tax audits
• Supervision of internal and external audits
• Continuous development, standardization, and optimization of internal processes; ensuring process quality within the team and participation in projects
