Research Associate* Serodiscovery

As part of our Serodiscovery team, you will work on innovative projects and make a significant contribution to diagnostic and therapeutic development in the field of oncology and immunology.

Your tasks in detail are:

• Project-related, independent performance and documentation of highly complex serological assays (Phage Display, Luminex, ELISA) to detect B-cell dependent antibody responses
• Responsible for the coordination of the general laboratory organization
• Cooperate with the development and optimization of new methods and processes
• Creation of SOPs and process descriptions as well as their revision
  
  

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed training as a BTA*, biology laboratory technician* or bachelor/master degree in the field of life science or comparable qualification with relevant work experience (1-3 years)
• Demonstrated experience of immunological and serological detection methods (especially ELISA methods)
• Experience with phage display and/or Luminex is advantageous
• Knowledge in the use of common molecular biological and protein biochemical methods
• Experience with aseptic cell culture is advantageous
• Structured, independent and efficient way of working with strong attention to detail
• High level of commitment, flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficient with common Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
