De­scrip­tion

The re­search group “Trans­for­ma­tional Sus­tain­abil­ity Sci­ence” at the Uni­ver­sity of Freiburg is look­ing for a grad­u­ate stu­dent, serv­ing as a “Wis­senschaftliche Hil­f­skraft” start­ing in July 2024.

The Uni­ver­sity of Freiburg has cre­ated the Trans­for­ma­tional Sus­tain­abil­ity Sci­ence re­search group. The group de­vel­ops ma­te­ri­als and con­ducts trans­dis­ci­pli­nary re­search on sus­tain­abil­ity top­ics.

This po­si­tion is su­per­vised by Dr. Katja Brundiers.

Re­search Ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude

• Con­duct­ing lit­er­a­ture re­views to sup­port the writ­ing of man­u­scripts
• As­sist­ing in sus­tain­abil­ity re­search and ed­u­ca­tion projects
• Cu­rat­ing con­tent for the group’s web­site
  
  

Gen­eral Re­quire­ments

• Com­pleted Bach­e­lor’s de­gree re­lated to sus­tain­abil­ity
• Abil­ity to work in­de­pen­dently, in a struc­tured and care­ful man­ner
• Con­fi­dent and friendly de­meanor
  
  

Spe­cific Re­quire­ments

• Fa­mil­iar­ity with lit­er­a­ture re­views, in­clud­ing PRISMA and oth­ers
• Fa­mil­iar­ity with AI ap­plied in sup­port of lit­er­a­ture re­views and vi­su­al­iza­tion of data
• High- level of or­ga­ni­za­tional skills (project man­age­ment)
• Flu­ent in Eng­lish
