🤝 Recently, our team at Monasterium Laboratory Skin & Hair Research Solutions GmbH had the honor of welcoming 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝘆𝗹𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 in Münster, Germany. As a clinician specializing in the treatment of 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮 (𝗛𝗦), she presented the clinical signs of HS, clinical scoring, and treatment strategies. 💡 Hidradenitis suppurativa, also known as acne inversa, is a long-term skin condition characterized by painful, inflamed lumps that form under the skin. These lumps often develop in areas where the skin rubs together, such as the armpits, groin, buttocks, and under the breasts. HS can be difficult to diagnose and treat because it manifests in different ways and can be mistaken for other skin conditions. It was a great opportunity for the team to engage with an expert in the field and gain clinical insights, crowned by lively and engaging discussions.
