Join our team as a QEHS Engineer for new projects and launches! You will contribute to ensuring all quality and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) requirements of DP World are implemented for new business starts. As a QEHS Engineer, you will ensure that all activities during launches are completed on time. Additionally, you will transition stable quality and EHS processes to the local QEHS team to ensure smooth ISO certification. Your responsibilities
- Defining quality and EHS requirements for new businesses
- Data analysis and reporting for problem-solving
- Ensuring safety aspects of new projects
- Documenting products and processes
- Conducting quality controls and supporting production
- Managing the integrated management system for processes
- Analyzing and implementing new processes
- Developing solutions for issues and reducing variations
- Actively coaching the company on quality, environmental, and safety matters
- Supporting the implementation of best practices and quality metrics
- Monitoring and improving document management and retention
- Supporting the QEHS shared services team and internal audits
- Ensuring quality during the launch phase and supporting the launch leads
- Flexibly engaging in all company activities outside of launches
Your profile
- Professional safety qualifications such as IOSH or NiBOSH
- Professional quality audit qualifications such as IRCA
- 5 years of experience in the automotive or logistics industry in a quality role
- Knowledge of relevant international standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, etc.)
- Knowledge of structured quality launch processes, preferably in the logistics/supply chain industry or equivalent based on APQP processes and tools (flowcharts, FMEA, control plans, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality standards, inspections, and written quality requirements
- Experience in the logistics or automotive industry is advantageous; flexibility to travel (80% worldwide for on-site audits)
- Fluent in both German and English (both languages min C1 level) – additional languages like Dutch and French are beneficial

- The position requires high (international) travel readiness
- You will receive a company car (also for private use)
- We offer ongoing education, training, and development in QEHS
- Onboarding in Germany – nearest DP World location as the main site where you will receive all necessary equipment such as PC and mobile phone. QEHS training (remote). Shadowing with one of the Engineers (for 3 weeks) at a current project site.
