Project Engineer - expand your skills to BESS technologies
Our client is a global leader in renewable energy systems, with leading expertise in photovoltaic, hydrogen and battery storage systems. Their technology and solutions are deployed globally, enabling the transition to a more sustainable future.
They are a young company in an exciting global ‘scale-up’ phase, backed by a large multinational technology concern. Their team is agile, highly innovative and very international. The company is based in Hesse, however, this role can be based remotely from home, anywhere in Germany.
The company delivers complex energy projects around the world. In this role you will be an engineer assisting with the design and implementation of such projects. You will be exposed to and get deep expertise in photovoltaics, P2G, Hydrogen and BESS.
The company has an excellent learning program to develop BESS skills for those with limited exposure to technology.
You will need to be able to travel international to visit project sites regularly. You will support the planning, execution and supervision of the construction of the project facility. As the project engineer you will create circuit diagrams and flow charts for technical documentation. You’ll also take a lead on instructing the assembly team to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
You’ll work with the customer during onsite visits, ensuring equipment is tested and accepted, and working towards a full handover.
What you’ll bring to the role;
An Electrical Engineering degree
Several years of professional experience as a project engineer in the EPC area and/or the energy industry
Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering (low voltage, photovoltaics, heavy current)
Fluent English required, German an advantage
