The Construction Offshore Operational Quality department (North and Central Europe Region) oversees comprehensive quality management for our construction projects and provides dedicated support to our clients in project certification throughout the execution of offshore construction projects. Our primary emphasis is on coordinating manufacturing, transportation, installation, and commissioning surveillance activities. We maintain a collaborative partnership with the Type Certification team and Project Certification Support team within the Sales department.
Responsibilities
Overseeing all facets of project certification throughout the construction phase, with a primary focus on surveillance activities
Planning, implementing, and monitoring project certification activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, and agreements with customers and certifying bodies
Generating comprehensive reports on the status of project certification, highlighting adherence to contract specifications and timelines, in coordination with customers and certifying bodies
Managing and supporting all legal and contractual obligations and deliverables related to project certification for the respective projects
Ensuring that project certification deliverables align with applicable local codes, official regulations, and site-specific requirements
Coordinating communication and information exchange related to project certification with customers, authorities, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders
Reporting and escalating identified risks to management, providing timely and accurate updates
Handling and maintaining all necessary project documentation and deliverables throughout the certification process
Maintaining the relationship between our organisation and external certifying bodies, fostering effective collaboration and communication
Qualifications
Educational background in Engineering, Business, or Management
Proven experience in project certification of wind turbines and familiarity with the operations of independent certification bodies
In-depth understanding of all crucial aspects of modern wind energy certification and Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) technical aspects
Extensive knowledge of project certification requirements, standards, tools, and practices, including familiarity with local and governmental regulations in various geographic areas within Europe (e.g., BSH Standard in Germany, DNV GL Service Specification: DNV GL-SE-0074, IECRE OD-502).
Experience in navigating and managing complex contracts
Project Management background in a complex engineering environment, particularly in offshore projects

Demonstrated ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision and guidance
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a progressive approach to tasks
Highly proficient in communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
Extensive experience in effectively maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders at all organisational levels
Team orientation, fostering collaboration and synergy
Adopts a highly structured approach to work, ensuring efficiency and organisation
Rapid learner, capable of quickly assimilating and applying new information and skills

Additional Information
Primary work location: Aarhus, DK, Warrington or Isle of Wight, UK, Hamburg, DE, or Szczecin, PL.
This position requires up to 30 days travel per year.
