Responsibilities

This job advertisement is aimed at you with a specialization in fluid process engineering and related subjects with experience in distillation and rectification technology and heat integration. We can offer you a varied position in a group in Hanau or Marl that suits you.

  • Your tasks will include process engineering optimization, further development and planning of processes and plants in close cooperation with the research and production departments
  • You will lead and contribute to development projects in interdisciplinary teams with a focus on distillation and absorption as well as heat integration and vapor recompression
  • You will also contribute your skills to the development of innovative technologies and methods for the production of specialty chemicals
  • You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting laboratory, pilot plant and production-scale trials in close cooperation with the plants
  • You will work closely with operational areas, internal and external R&D organizations and equipment and plant manufacturers

Requirements

  • You have laid the foundation for your career with a degree (Master's, Dipl.-Ing.) and subsequent doctorate in process engineering, ideally in the field of distillation and rectification technology
  • Very good German and English language skills support your communication skills
