Portfolio & Operations Manager (f/m/d)

As a Portfolio Manager at GO2 Markets, you take on responsibility for our growing portfolio and enable our team to close deals with confidence and a focus on revenue and cash flow optimization. You work closely together with our commercial teams, financial and legal experts, as well as with our leadership team. You will cover for Senior Portfolio & Operations Manager, who will be on a 1-year sabbatical. After your successful first year, there will be the option to discuss a more long-term position in the team.

This position is offered full-time, in Berlin, and at the earliest possible starting date.

Your Responsibilities At GO2 Markets

• You will take on responsibility for managing our client portfolio, trade book, and deliveries
• You will help our Sales Managers close deals on a daily basis, optimizing the revenue potential for the company and delivering our products to our clients
• You will review deals closed, follow-up on deliveries, and make sure invoices are paid on time
• You will manage and operate our cash flow as well as ongoingly mitigate potential risks in collaboration with our Finance and Legal professionals
• You will review and analyze financial and operational reports and give recommendations accordingly
• You will be a strong internal advisor to both our commercial teams and the leadership team and proactively find ways to optimize our procurement strategy
  
  
  
  
  

Your profile

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in portfolio management, controlling, accounting, and/or a different financial role, ideally in the environmental industry
• You have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, and contribute to our business with your advice, insights, and ideas
• You are business fluent in both English and German, and you confidently and transparently communicate with different stakeholders both inside and outside the company
• You are an expert when it comes to Excel, handle complex formulas and figures, and ideally have experience with ERP software
• You have a strong, analytical problem-solving mindset and know the devil is in the details
