Job Purpose Role

As a People & Culture (P&C) Chapter Lead Germany and Senior Business Partner, you will play a vital role in driving the people and culture agenda in Germany (Munich and Halle). At the same time, you act as People Partner ensuring the smooth-running and excellence of all P&C processes for all our customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end strategies to support the business in a sustainable way and assessing the P&C implications of the business strategy to design solutions.
  • Partner with the business stakeholders and acting as strategic advisor.
  • Execute P&C programs and running HR processes (e.g. rewards, performance, talent, development, recruiting, re-organization, etc.) together with the business areas.
  • Develop and implementing programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as performance management, career development, and recognition initiatives.
  • Advice and coach people leaders and staff on employee relations topics
  • Collaborate with P&C peers and experts across the other countries on programs and initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted contact person for the Works Council bodies (Munich and Halle).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 P&C professionals in Germany (Munich and Halle), fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation within the team.

Qualifications/Key skills:

  • At least 6 years of relevant P&C (HR) experience, preferably in a global organization, including experience with employee representative bodies and knowledge of German labor and employment law.
  • Able to work in a matrix and virtual team environment supporting multiple locations.
  • Excellent Stakeholdermanagement.
  • Experience with managing organizational change, including restructuring and transformation programs with a global scope.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in German and English
  • Ability to maintain and build relationships and network with customers at all levels, including Senior Management.
  • Ability to negotiate, often in difficult situations, and steer discussions to a desired end.
  • Autonomy and a can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in law, business, psychology, or related field.
