The CTO unit is the department within Generali Vitality responsible for IT, IT Security and Project Management. It is accountable for the delivery of IT solutions. It steers several service providers ensuring the highest quality possible of the release of new and business-as-usual implementations of the product.

• Enable the development of professional connections and networking
• Support the “Head of Security” to detecting, identifying, and combating cyber-attacks, security incidents and anomalies in the corporate environment
• Perform periodically system monitoring, and security scans (e.g. vulnerability management) into internal and exposed systems utilizing standard tools and knowledge of network topology
• Make a proof of concept into detected potential security issues to see if it is a real case or if it can be considered a false positive
• Support the “Head of Security” to implement and connect AWS Security Services into the productive modules and tools (e.g. Cloud Watch, CloudTrail, Sec Lake, Sec Inspector, Sec Hub)
• Maintain internal documentation for IT security and process control
• Coordinate an agenda and scope of an external Pentesters in constant coordination with the Security Manager
  
  

Profile

• Enrollment in a course of study in computer science, business informatics or a comparable course
• Basic knowledge or initial experience in dealing with Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as databases and network protocols
• Basic knowledge into AWS Security (e.g. Cloud Watch, CloudTrail, Sec Lake, Sec Inspector, Sec Hub)
• Basic knowledge of IT security tools such as Splunk (SIEM), Qualys and Ostorlab (VA)
• Analytical, conceptual, and flexible way of working
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and a confident manner, also with regard to communication and presentation of solutions and results
• Fluent English written and spoken, German is optional
