The Hashgraph Association (THA) is a global organization headquartered in Switzerland, and is a part of the Hedera Hashgraph (“Hedera”) ecosystem.

Hedera is a revolutionary proof-of-stake public Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) network that is fast emerging as the gold standard in DLT for enterprise-grade solutions and decentralized applications (dApps). Hedera is governed by a council of the world’s leading organizations - which include Google, Boeing, IBM, Dell, Deutsche Telekom, LG, Abrdn, London School of Economics, to name a few.

THA works closely with enterprises, startups, governments, and academic and training institutions around the world to deliver financing, custom-design solutions, and professional training and innovation programs, aimed at accelerating the development and utilization of the Hedera Hashgraph network.

We are scaling rapidly and are setting up offices in key geographies across the globe, e.g. Hong Kong, India, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE.

We are looking for a Head of Academy, ideally based in the UK or in Germany or somewhere else in Europe. The role is set up as a remote role with frequent trips to Switzerland, if needed and will report directly to the CEO.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategy to achieve the academy's goals and objectives, in alignment with the overall mission and vision
• Lead the commercialisation/productization of training programs to external clients, including developing marketing strategies, identifying sales opportunities, and negotiating contracts
• Lead the development and evaluation of curriculum frameworks, courses, and instructional materials, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality training and educational programs that meet the needs of students and adhere to academic standards and best practices.
• Work closely with universities and academic institutions to establish partnerships and develop joint programs

Your qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years working experience in Training/ Education, thereof at least 2-3 years experience in Web3/ DLT (even more ideally: Hedera Hashgraph)
• Master's or doctoral degree in Business, Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
• Proven track record in commercializing/ selling training curricula
• Strong academic network; Experience in collaborating with universities and developing custom training programs
• Proficiency in educational technology and data analysis tools
• Experience working in an international or multicultural educational setting (preferred).
