The Frontend Developer plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for designing and implementing the user interface and user experience of our web applications. They work closely with the design and backend development teams to create seamless and visually appealing user interfaces that reflect the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities
Developing new user-facing features using React.js
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Collaborating with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Assisting and guiding backend developers in integrating front-end components with server-side logic
Implementing modern, responsive design principles
Maintaining high code quality through automated testing and code reviews
Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
Designing and implementing user interactions on web pages
Creating tools that enhance the user experience
Conducting performance tests
Coordinating with the back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Collaborating with the design team to improve usability and accessibility
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Frontend Developer
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g., Git, SVN, Mercurial)
Experience in UI/UX design principles and best practices
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Knowledge of performance testing frameworks and optimization techniques
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
