Your Role:

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing- and working with several major client accounts within Sunrock. It will be your task to build, develop and maintain business relations with our industry and logistics real estate clients. You will promote brand awareness and source for new business opportunities with the target to establish long-term strategic business relationships.

Your Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Win new business. This will be achieved by identifying, building and managing an active pipeline of opportunities in the industry and logistics real estate sector, covering everything from one-off business to full-service accounts.
  • Effectively manage multiple, simultaneous client opportunities through fostering solid relationships with clients directly, and multiple stakeholders throughout Sunrock.
  • Identify the specific needs of industry clients, real estate developers and investors, thus supporting them in their clean energy transition.
  • Once the business is won, ensure a seamless transition of client responsibility to the Development teams
  • Manage recurring calls with internal client teams to coordinate efforts, and with client representatives to provide regular updates
  • Expedite problem solving on all account issues and addresses any issues or challenging feedback raised by the client
  • This role will not be required to execute the new business in terms of developing the projects as this will be undertaken by the development teams; therefore, you will be required to build and maintain a deep understanding of all service lines within Sunrock and build deep internal relationships across the business.


What You Bring To The Table:

  • A Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Masters university degree;
  • At least 3+ years of experience in the German industry or commercial real estate business;
  • Preferrably a background in real estate deal management or industry production / supply chain management/automotive (e.g. factory planning and building & energy infrastructure)
  • The ability to solve problems in complex situations;
  • An entrepreneurial drive and won’t let go until you get the deal closed;
  • You are an absolute team player and are strong in relationship management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English;
  • Travel is required.
