Salary: €90,000-€100,000 base + bonus + benefits


The Client: JBAndrews is currently partnered with a leading European provider of multimodal transport solutions and logistics services, seamlessly integrating road, rail, and sea operations across Europe and Asia.


Job Description:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth across core products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Generation: Manage the creation of high-quality new business leads.
  • Opportunity Conversion: Successfully convert new business leads into opportunities that support the asset network and logistic capabilities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Ensure a healthy sales pipeline for new business customers.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Involve and align with all relevant internal stakeholders during the sales process.
  • Contract Negotiation: Design, propose, and negotiate profitable contracts.
  • Business Expansion: Secure new profitable business by participating in exhibitions and conferences.
  • Implementation Support: Support the successful implementation of new contracts through handover/implementation.


Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a Business Development Manager role within the transport and logistics industry. Experience in Project Logistics and the Industrial vertical preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is preferred.
  • Competencies: Structured and analytical approach, accuracy in numbers, sense of urgency, result-driven, quality-driven, credible, and trustworthy.
  • Attributes: Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; demonstrates responsibility, independence, and ownership.
  • Mindset: Strategic, commercial, and service-minded with high-stress resistance.
