Business Development Manager

Our Client is a leading producer and distributor of hydrogen solutions with the focus on driving sustainable energy alternatives.


They are seeking an experienced and highly skilly Business Development Manager to join their team.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Carry out market research to find fresh prospects and developing trends in the hydrogen sector.
  • Create and carry out strategic business development plans to meet growth goals for the organisation.
  • Use market conditions and competition activity analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Locate and interact with possible customers in important sectors including energy, industrial manufacturing, and transportation.
  • Develop and preserve a solid rapport with current and potential customers in order to comprehend their needs and provide specialised solutions.
  • Engage in negotiations and close high-value deals and contracts with partners and clients.
  • Find, form, and maintain strategic alliances with government agencies, academic institutions, and industry players.
  • Work together with internal teams to guarantee the smooth supply of hydrogen solutions to clients and partners.
  • Supervise business development project planning and implementation, making sure that it adheres to company objectives and schedules.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams in delivering all-encompassing solutions and meeting project objectives.
  • Create and oversee business development activity budgets.
  • Keep an eye on financial performance and report progress and important metrics to top management on a regular basis.
  • Attend trade exhibits, networking events, and industry conferences as a representative of our client.
  • Create and give presentations to a wide audience in order to highlight our hydrogen solutions and value propositions.


Your Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the energy or industrial sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the hydrogen energy market and related technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
