Business Development Manager (all genders)

TradeLink is a remote-first company that provides a collaborative logistics platform. We simplify B2B shipment collaboration for mid-sized businesses. Our open layer connects users, assets, and systems in shared shipment processes, offering simple workflow tools to all participants. We foster collaboration among supply chain actors through thought leadership, fair benefit distribution, and transparent reputations.

As our Business Development Manager (all genders) you will be at the forefront of our growth engine, initiating strategic purchasing processes within the DACH market. Your role is pivotal in understanding complex business models, identifying value in opportunities, and navigating through decision-maker hierarchies with ease.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the first part of the funnel, initiating buying processes with creative multi-channel, multi-persona strategies
  • You invest in the discovery process, conduct high quality research, truly understand your prospect’s pain points and engage in a personalized, tailored manner
  • You become a TradeLink expert and conduct early impact pitches and first discovery presentations
  • You work closely with our Account Executives and GTM functions and effectively integrate them into your strategies
  • You fully own your accounts, understand business models, value of opportunities, and navigate complex decision making processes smoothly
  • You manage your account portfolio and pipeline based on traction and opportunity size

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • You have first experience in Business Development, Partnerships or other GTM functions, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment. Logistics experience is a plus.
  • You are highly persistant, are motivated by output and the impact of your daily doings, and enjoy having a high degree of ownership
  • You are curious, creative and have strong strategic thinking skills
  • You are able to identify opportunities and tailor strategies accordingly
  • You have a high level of empathy and the ability to truly understand different perspectives
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels of an organization, including higher seniorities
