Business Development for Sustainability Education

Your Mission

We are looking for a sales generalist to join our small, dedicated team (fully remote, with a Berlin co-working space). At LFCA we educate sustainability practitioners to drive impactful transformations in their organizations through immersive, practical peer-learning formats tailored to their specific challenges.

Your primary role will be to partner with Philippe and Anna from our Growth team to boost sales for our B2B courses and community subscriptions. We seek someone who can provide strong support in day-to-day execution and focus on building scalable conversion funnels.

Your Responsibilities

You'll spearhead all stages of sales, lead generation, and the optimization of paid traffic campaigns while maximizing our CRM's potential. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our community network, which currently has 4,000 members.

  • Lead Generation: identify and target potential clients via various channels like paid ads on Linkedin and Meta platforms, Sales Navigator, networking events, industry conferences, etc.
  • Sales Presentations: deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our educational programs and community resources to prospective clients via video/phone calls and emails. Manage contract negotiations, create customized pitch decks, and close B2B deals.
  • CRM management: own deals funnel in our CRM, make sure all leads are engaged and provided with convincing information; run community-wide campaigns offering seasonal education offerings to our database.
  • Analytics: track the success rate of our growth initiatives, make data-driven decisions, and forecast conversions and revenue.
  • Key accounts management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their needs and communicate them to our product & content team.
  • Be ready to work across all stages of the process: from strategic ideation on growth initiatives to hands-on manual work on execution.

Your Profile

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales/lead generation/business development. Ideally. working with B2B sales, with Linkedin advertising and Sales Navigator, Google Analytics and Mixpanel, Hubspot or similar CRMs, newsletters, community engagement, SEO.
  • BA, MSc, or 3rd level equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field and/or at least 5 years professional experience in a senior role.
  • Considered a big plus: entrepreneurial mindset, founder experience in the startup world, experience in business development, growth hacking, lead generation, and performance marketing.
  • Considered a big plus: practical experience with sustainability products and services or education in this field; commitment to sustainability based on science.
  • Articulate written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Location within 3 hours of CET.
