For our Service Operation in Munich we are looking for a

Automotive Diagnostic Technician (m/f/x)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers, service technicians, and internal teams regarding automotive mechanical, electrical, body, and paint issues.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical problems, both remotely and on-site as required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions using appropriate documentation systems.
• Generate detailed reports and analysis of technical support activities to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist in the development of training materials and resources for internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, R&D, and customer service, to address technical challenges and improve product quality.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader Technical Support to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving technical issues, and exceeding customer expectations; Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Assist in conducting quality assurance checks and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
• Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance technical expertise and effectiveness in the role.

Job Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive technical support or a similar role.
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software used for troubleshooting automotive mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service and support.
• Fluent in spoken and written German at level B2 or higher, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders; Strong comprehension of technical terminology and industry-specific vocabulary in the German language.
• Proficient in spoken and written English at level B1 or higher, enabling effective communication with international colleagues, suppliers, and clients; Capability to comprehend technical manuals, specifications, and communication in English within the automotive industry context.
