EUR 10.2 billion in sales in the first half of 2024 - the Würth Group is satisfied with this result, as the current challenges are very great for all market participants. This represents a decrease of 3.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, or 2.6 percent adjusted for currencies. The Würth Group continues to pursue its countercyclical strategy and invests when others scale back. Sales activities are to be further expanded across all channels and investments in IT and digitalization are to be driven forward. One of our top priorities is the availability of products for our more than four million customers worldwide. ➡️ Why social commitment is important for Würth even in times of crisis as well as further details about the first half of the year can be found in the press release: http://wuerth.rocks/8tC #wuerth #wuerthgroup

🤝 🎭 ✨ The Würth Group will be a new main sponsor of Salzburger Festspiele “I have a great passion for art, literature, architecture, and music. For me personally, the latter is indeed the highest of the arts and a special treat. Going home with a melody on my mind after a wonderful concert—that is what I call a splendid day,” said Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth. Reinhold Würth and the Würth Group have been supporting Salzburg Festival since 2016, the Ouverture Spirituelle concert series since 2018 and the "jung&jede*r" children’s and youth program since 2022. Würth will sponsor the Salzburg festival from 2025—one of the most famous classical music festivals in the world. The contract period is three years. “We are just as united by our idea of quality as we are by our belief in the power of art,“ said Festival President Dr. Kristina Hammer. The commitment of Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth and the Würth Group, especially in the field of the fine arts, has been shaping the cityscape of Salzburg for more than 30 years. The most prominent example of this commitment is the "Walk of Modern Art", an art project spanning ten years that has resulted in a globally unique art trail in the heart of the World Heritage city. A total of 14 sculptures by internationally renowned artists connect the most beautiful places in Salzburg. Since 2013, the works displayed along the "Walk of Modern Art" have been on permanent loan from the Würth Collection to the city of Salzburg. Apart from his responsibility for the staff and the company, his responsibility to society plays a central role for Reinhold Würth. ➡ Read more: http://wuerth.rocks/8tu 📸 Reinhold Würth and Kristina Hammer © Würth/Ufuk Arslan 📸 Hofstallgasse © SF/Kolarik #Wuerth #WuerthCollection #SalzburgFestival #SalzburgerFestival #DieStadtwirdzurBuehne

Changing employers and embracing a new field of work after 16 years at an international company has been the most courageous decision in Markus Zbojnikowski's career so far. Sales is a completely new profession for him as a certified technician. However, true to the motto “If not now, when?”, he decided to start working at HAHN+KOLB Werkzeuge GmbH wishing to take on more responsibility, talk to customers and acquire new knowledge. HAHN + KOLB Werkzeuge GmbH is one of the leading tool service providers and system suppliers and has been part of the Würth Group for 30 years. As a northern area sales manager, Markus Zbojnikowski is the main contact for customers in northern Germany, covering the company’s entire product and service portfolio. His decision to leave the safety net of a familiar role brought with it a whirlwind of emotions. While Markus Zbojnikowski felt like he was starting a new chapter full of opportunities and experiences, he was met with a lack of understanding by some of his colleagues and acquaintances, with questions like “Why do you change from production to sales?” or “What do you expect of this new beginning?” often asked. But for Markus Zbojnikowski, it was clear that his desire for change and the opportunity to explore new avenues were motivation enough for him to take the plunge. The result of his courageous decision was positive throughout. “My desire for change and my decision to venture onto a new path have brought me an always fun and friendly working environment, showing me that trying new things and making courageous decisions requires effort, but also opens up completely new perspectives,” says Markus Zbojnikowski. Build date 1991, 75 HP: when an idea becomes a passion ⚽🚗 Fabian Bergmann, project manager for power tools and M-Cube at Würth Deutschland, is an enthusiastic football fan. In 2006, the year of the World Cup in Germany, he turned an old car into a black-red-gold football car together with two of his friends, colleagues have also supported. Just in time for the 2024 European Championship in Germany, they invested another 100 hours of work to restore the car to its former glory. One of the highlights: All players of the current German national team have signed the car’s hood – and Franz Beckenbauer’s signature is on the car’s interior ceiling. And the journey continues: The three football fans will collect more signatures of former World and European Champions before driving the car to its final resting place: the German Football Museum in Dortmund, Germany. Regardless of whether your heart beats for the black-red-gold or for another team, we wish everyone a great football event! #wuerth #wuerthgroup #emgolf2024 #EM Deutsches Fußballmuseum

Seeing is believing, right? The holograms and optical illusions in the new exhibition at Kunsthalle Würth in Schwäbisch Hall challenge our perception, expectation, and imagination. For the first time, Würth Collection is presenting a selection from the largest coherent collection on the hologram. Formerly assembled by Matthias Lauk and now part of the collection. It includes works by all international holography pioneers since the invention of the medium in the 1960s. Works by Victor Vasarely or Jesús Rafael Soto also stand for the trend-setting movements of Op Art and kinetics in this epoch, which the loner Patrick Hughes continues in an extremely refined and entertaining way with his three-dimensional pictorial objects. 📅 “Imaging the Third Dimension. Holograms and Optical Illusions in the Würth Collection” is now on view until fall 2025. Admission is free. #WürthCollection #Holograms #wuerth #wuerthgroup Credits: Isolde Maria Joham, Kreismeditation Blau - Rot (Mandala, psychedelisch), 1972, Würth Collection, Inv. 20412 © Isolde Maria Joham, Photo: Würth/Arslan; Edwina Orr, Self portrait with lens, Würth Collection, Inv. 20291 © Edwina Orr, Photo: Volker Naumann; Patrick Hughes, London Fields, Würth Collection, Inv. 8945 and Subjected Object, 2004, Würth Collection, Inv. 7989, © Patrick Hughes, Photo: Würth/Arslan.

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it,” said Nelson Mandela. Vera Guo draws the same lesson from her courageous decision to join the Würth Group’s HR department for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region as a career changer. Vera had always dreamed of working for a multinational company. However, it was not easy to find a suitable job straight after graduating with a major in English and so she started to work in a small private company. Yet she never gave up on her dream and soon joined the Würth Group, where she has now been working for five years. The world of human resources was a completely new field for Vera Guo, who had gained her first professional experience in administration. Nevertheless, last year she took the bold step of accepting the position as a specialist in the Würth Group’s HR Department for the APAC region. This has been the biggest turning point in her professional career so far. “The new role in the new department fills me with a sense of achievement and courage, which is also the benefit that this decision has brought me,” she says. The Würth Group’s HR Department for the APAC region operates as a shared service center, delivering HR services to 43 companies across Asia and Europe, covering more than 2000 employees in total. As an HR specialist and part of the team based in Shenyang, China, she primarily handles the upkeep of employee data and organizational charts. Her professional decision has also shaped her as a person. “My courageous decision opened up a new opportunity for my career. It pushed the shy me to expand my HR knowledge and skills and to connect with more colleagues. After a year of working and learning, I’ve adapted well to my new job,” says Vera Guo. This encourages her to continue to make bold decisions outside her comfort zone. What courageous decisions have you made in your career? The Würth Group once again supports the UN Children’s Fund #UNICEF and donates EUR 405,000 to an aid program that provides children in Sudan with access to safe learning spaces and safeguards their future. The donation will serve to set up safe learning spaces providing children and adolescents with access to protection, social contacts and education. UNICEF equips the learning spaces with learning materials and toys and sees to the psychological and psychosocial support of children. If the safety situation does not permit for children to attend school in person, they can learn at home using an e-learning program on solar-powered tablets. The UNICEF facilities also support family members by providing them with access to water and healthcare. 🌍🤝 Let’s unite to empower young minds and support them in creating a brighter future! ➡️ The donation is the result of a worldwide campaign week at Würth.
