Got drenched? Well, in Germany at least, it's almost impossible to stay dry during our "summer" at the moment. But thanks to our High Voltage Heaters for electric vehicles, at least it stays warm and dry in the car. https://bit.ly/4aekf5A

It's all in the mix: sensors for autonomous driving 🚗 Autonomous driving requires a combination of technologies: Lidars, radars and cameras provide a comprehensive picture of the traffic environment. 💡 The video below shows a camera and a lidar in full synchronization: You can see the environment at the same time through the eye of a camera and a lidar. Lidars emit laser light that reflects off by objects in the environment and is then received again to calculate distances. 🚦 Light orange colors represent objects close to the vehicle; dark blue colors represent objects farther away. Each point (color point) is also a real point in the vehicle's 3D environment, so lidars build an accurate 3D geometry of the environment. 👉 The roof sensor module from #Webasto combines the various technologies and is an elegant and reliable solution for autonomous driving.
