It's already been one month since we were hosting our #EXPO2024 in Stuttgart, and we're still thrilled by all the positive feedback. Over 1,200 guests joined us in-person, 120+ high-level speakers took the stage, and 30+ startups showcased their pilot collaborations with our 25+ corporate partners. 🚀 This success wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the incredible #EXPO2024 CREW. We had FTE, pre-masters, interns, working students, and other tech enthusiasts from our partner companies like Mercedes-Benz AG, University of Stuttgart, Bosch, Porsche AG, Schaeffler and NXP Semiconductors as well as colleagues from our other Plug and Play Tech Center offices joining us for onsite support. We keep celebrating the winners of this year's Plug and Play Global Innovation Award. 🏆👏 Kudos to the ZF Group x Synop team! Synop’s product improves the total cost of ownership of electric vehicles across fleets and lowers the cost of energy used by offering real-time charging and energy management to save costs. Synop and Commercial Vehicles @ ZF teamed up to solve fleet electrification at scale for fleets of all sizes. The solution ZF and Synop have created utilises APIs to integrate Synop’s charging and energy management solutions into SCALAR, ZF’s cloud platform for customers. 🎉 Looking back at STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug and Play #EXPO2024, we’d like to take a moment and congratulate Webasto Group, cylib, and Porsche AG on winning the Plug and Play Global Innovation Award! 🏆 cylib’s technology gives access to locally produced battery raw materials by sustainably recycling End of Life batteries and production scraps. 🔋 cylib has successfully proven its technology on the batteries of Webasto Group and Porsche AG, with all the elements of the batteries being extracted in separate fractions. The reached yields are in line with all upcoming EU regulations. 🌟 Linus Glowinski, cylib: „To achieve a true circular battery economy, cylib needs to collaborate with strong and mission-driven partners. We’re thrilled to have found such partners in Webasto and Porsche.” 🌟 Jonathan Hörz, Porsche AG: ”Among other goals, Porsche is striving for a closed battery raw material cycle. Batteries and their battery cell modules should be used in our vehicles for as long as possible and then either be used in energy storage systems or their raw materials should be reused in new batteries using modern recycling processes.
