We concluded the 2024 Nucleate Germany Activator Program strongly, winning the Activator Main Prize at the recent Demo Day 2024 @MotionLab.Berlin. 🌟 About the Demo Day in Berlin The eight exceptional startup teams of the 2024 Nucleate Germany Activator batch, including RevoBITs, were invited to showcase their innovations in pitch format. A jury of esteemed personalities from the startup ecosystem evaluated the presentations and were given the chance to ask questions. We are super proud that RevoBITs came out on top. Aside from the pitch competition, the night buzzed with experienced founders on stage, a stimulating panel talk and a lots of networking. 🙏 A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers at Nucleate Germany Felix, Gauhar, Suyen and so many more did a great job in orchestrating the entire program since December 2023. RevoBITs was born from the desire to make bioprinting more valuable for everyone. We enable medical research and pharmaceutical industries to develop and standardize the production of meaningful human tissue models by providing the first smart multimaterial bioprinter. Our vision is to reduce and eventually replace animal tests in research and drug development with our upcoming Revolutionary Biofabrication Technologies. For now, we are a startup at the Institute of Polymer Materials at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). This provides access to leading experts across diverse research fields and equips us with the essential machinery required to manufacture our prototype. Nucleate Germany Activator Program 2024 Launch & Kick-Off Event 🚀 We are excited to introduce the launch of our Nucleate Germany Activator Program 2024, aimed at fostering the creation of successful life science spin-offs across Germany! 🧬🌱 Our Activator Program is dedicated to facilitating company formation in the fields of therapeutics, diagnostics, and tools, as well as Food & Agriculture, Chemicals & Energy, and Consumer Products. Through mentor matching with experienced bio-entrepreneurs and industry leaders, our structured workshop curriculum in the Bio and Eco track, and our contributor applicants joining the teams, our 5-month program lays the groundwork for collaborative success. The highlight? All teams will have a final pitch showcase at our open Demo Day in June. Our inaugural nine Activator Teams were thoroughly selected in a cycle of interviews from about 30 spin-off applicants and a larger pool of contributors based on the potential of their transformative ideas. Last Friday we at RevoBITs had the chance to visit the Nanion Technologies HQ in Munich. This visit, facilitated by a gracious invitation from CEO Niels, provided us with an opportunity to gain fascinating and valuable insights into their operations, production and the major challenges pursuing the way from science to a successful business. The journey that Nanion has embarked over the past 20 years is nothing short of impressive. Their commitment to innovation, high-tech science-based products and entrepreneurial drive is very inspiring. Witnessing their growth and evolution firsthand definitely left a profound impact on us.
