These environmentally friendly vehicles travel daily between our sequence center in Pliening and the major OEM plant in Munich. We are the first of the BMW Group’s carriers within Europe to have switched to CNG! 🍃 We are proud to be at the forefront of sustainability and environmental protection in the logistics industry. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 What started out as a pilot project with our Corporate IT at REICHHART Logistik at our site in Pliening has successfully developed into a solution leading to more transparency and saving valuable time in logistic processes. 🔎 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Until recently, our colleagues in Pliening maintained various lists to manage information about the arrivals and departures of trucks or transport containers. However, the manual maintenance of these lists took up an inconsiderable amount of time. To support those responsible on site and to provide all employees with uniform, central access to essential information, we have developed a new digital solution. 🎯𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 – The goal was to create more clarity, for example, to help the employees plan their working hours efficiently. At the same time, we also wanted better documentation of processes to ensure that all relevant information is correctly documented. We have this high standard for ourselves, but our customers also appreciate it when we can provide valid documentation. ✅ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Our Corporate IT prepared and accompanied the implementation of the project. They developed a dashboard in which all essential information converges. Our employees can now identify the relevant data immediately at any time and act accordingly. The dashboard is visible on site in the hall and can also be viewed at the workplace. Thanks to the smooth cooperation between the site and our IT department, an excellent solution was developed that adds concrete value to the daily business of logistics – 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. #logisticscompany #digitalsolutions #corporateIT

𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬: 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫-𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭🚗 Our colleagues at REICHHART Logistique France, the technical team and our partner NordEtud have worked closely together to develop tailor-made Roller Bases for a Turkish customer. These specialised tools enable just-in-sequence delivery of seats in the automotive manufacturing plant, tailored to integrate seamlessly with our clients processes as well as products.  This project highlights our capability to create tailored solutions, demonstrating our commitment to providing practical results in the logistic industry to boost our clients operational efficacy and overall scuccess.🤝 #logistics #innovative #logisticscompany

𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬   A cross-site exchange between teams offers various benefits for any company. We believe that through personal visits, valuable relationships can be formed, and a deeper understanding of the different processes can be established. Such encounters help identify similarities and differences in workflows, allowing teams to learn from one another. Recently, our colleagues experienced this firsthand.   The teams from transport logistics at our sites in Sulzbach-Rosenberg and Bielefeld met up and exchanged their insights. A central focus was on transferring best practices from one site to another. The teams discussed necessary adjustments and concrete implementation strategies, particularly how processes from Sulzbach-Rosenberg could be adapted in Bielefeld.   We are confident that this approach contributes to the success and development of our company and that, together, we can shape the future even more successfully. 🤝 #logisticscompany #logistics #knowledgetransfer

At REICHHART Logistik, we recognise the urgent need to address climate change and take responsibility for protecting our planet. Here are three key areas where we are making a difference: 🌱 𝐋𝐨𝐰-𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬: Embracing renewable energy sources is essential for mitigating climate risks. By integrating biomethane-powered trucks into our fleet, we are taking proactive steps to reduce carbon emissions. Nine trucks of the REICHHART fleet are already running on biomethane. Further expansion is planned. 🌱𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Our approach to developing logistics concepts emphasises a holistic approach that aims both at economic efficiency and takes ecological concerns into account. This includes the ongoing optimisation of capacity utilisation while avoiding empty runs, the integration of multimodal modes of transport, and the consideration of alternative drive concepts. 🌱 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: As part of our commitment to climate security, we have adopted advanced lithium-ion forklifts that operate emission-free and incorporate smart technology for enhanced efficiency. The devices are also characterised by low power consumption and a long service life. The negative environmental impact is further reduced by a holistic recycling process for the devices. That's why we took part in ISD (Institute for Strategic Dialogue) Business Council for Democracy, a training series designed to educate about risks in the digital world and how to responsibly deal with them.
