💦 Rain won’t stop us from having a great party! 🎈🥳 Last Friday, the entire PAIR Finance team came together from near and far - our international colleagues arrived from Zurich, Wien and Amsterdam - to celebrate this year's #summerparty at Strandbad Jungfernheide! 🏖️ The day was packed with exciting presentations (more on this in our next post), fun activities like wakeboarding and beach volleyball, photo booth and fun props, delicious food, and, of course, great conversations. 🌟 🎶 In the evening, DJ Zoom provided fantastic music, creating a relaxed atmosphere. And the best part: We all enjoyed a tasty barbecue with cool drinks. 🍸 💬 "Our goal is to transform the entire debt collection market across Europe. 🚀 It was an honor to host former Federal Minister Brigitte Zypries for a live interview in the latest edition of the PAIR Academy. Our Director Partnership Henry Kobsch kicked off the event which started with exclusive insights from the political arena: a live interview with Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Justice and Economics, and Daniela Gaub, General Counsel at PAIR Finance. Zypries shared experiences from her time in the cabinet, illustrating the legislative process from draft to publication. She remarked, “If both sides criticize me, I’ve done everything right,” highlighting the challenge of creating balanced laws. 👛🤑 Zypries also emphasized the importance of financial education, advocating for voluntary workshops in schools to teach young people about contracts and money management. Sabrina E., Data Privacy & Compliance Counsel at PAIR Finance, updated us on changes to the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The relevant ruling 2023 of the ECJ is crucial: consumers may not be refused a loan based solely or significantly based on an automated credit score. Sabrina stressed that transparency and fairness, core to our DNA, are central to these new regulations. ⚖️👏 Instead of a speaker fee, in agreement with Brigitte Zypries PAIR Finance donated €1,500 to Die ARCHE Kinderstiftung, supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
