🎉 What an incredible Formula Student event at Prüfzentrum Boxberg 🏎️💨 On Friday last week, we kicked off the Boxberg event with a delicious BBQ and public viewing at the sporting field in Boxberg. It was great to see so many teams, along with organizers and judges from Bosch Engineering GmbH, ETAS, and ITK Engineering, in attendance. ⚽🔥🍖 Our sponsored teams, StarkStrom Augsburg e.V. and municHMotorsport e.V., were both present, even without their cars. Starkstrom Augsburg participated in the statics including engineering design, while municHMotorsport focused on the business plan and cost judging. This year, for the first time, static disciplines were offered. ITK was represented by six employees, who covered most of the engineering design. It was a privilege to assist with our expertise and provide feedback to the teams. We were truly impressed by their innovation power and had some interesting take aways. A brief interruption occurred at midday due to a storm, forcing everyone to take shelter in the test center facilities. However, this didn’t stop us from continuing the judging. A big thank you to Bosch Engineering for the excellent organization and the opportunity to participate in this event. It was not only a technical highlight but also a culinary one (especially the Döner 😊). The German startup VÆRIDION is shaping this vision by developing electric #microliner for distances up to 500 km. The new home for their #battery development is our #BoschCollaborationCampus in 📍Holzkichen near Munich.
