A very happy announcement and a warm welcome to Ronald!   We are thrilled to announce that Ronald Diesenreiter has been appointed as the new General Manager of the MAXX by Steigenberger Hotel in Vienna, Austria!   Ronald looks back on an exceptional career spanning more than a quarter of a century. After starting in Vienna in the Rooms Division Department and gaining solid experience in the commercial area, his professional journey took him consecutively to Prague, Istanbul and Warsaw, before returning to Vienna. In Vienna, Ronald managed the premium full-service hotel group as Business Development Director. Subsequently, Ronald became Hotel Director of Vienna's largest full-service hotel, which he successfully managed, refurbished and repositioned over a period of more than a decade.   In addition to Ronald's warm and authentic personality, we could not imagine a better or more complete professional than him. His extensive business knowledge, his personal skills and his strong orientation towards guests and employees will ensure that the MAXX by Steigenberger hotel will consolidate its position in the Viennese market. Saudações a Lisboa: First Hotel Opening in Lisbon!   Feuring is very proud and honored to announce the opening of the DUO Hotel Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton on June 12th, 2024. DUO Hotel Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton, is the first of three hotels, including a Hampton by Hilton and Portugal's first Canopy by Hilton, to open in the city, following a management agreement between Hilton and Feuring Hotelconsulting GmbH announced last year. All three hotels are in the amazing downtown area around Ribeira (“TimeOut”) Market and the popular "Pink Street". The DUO Hotel Lisbon, which has been developed in a traditional 19th century building with modern architecture features 75 rooms and a restaurant led by Marlene Vieira one of the most creative and modern local chefs from Lisbon. The restaurant also features a wildness of colors with a graffiti masterpiece from Nabla Zibe. The heart of the property is the courtyard which has been transformed into a beautiful lounge garden and is unique in its kind in the city.   Feuring has acted as advisor to the developer and is operating the property under a long-term lease agreement. We are very proud to announce that Armando Waser has recently been appointed as General Manager of the iconic Hyatt Centric Hotel Murano in Venice, Italy.   Besides being a seasoned hotelier, Armando is also a true globetrotter. Armando has worked, amongst others in Baku, Paris, Casablanca, Luzern, Madeira, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Taghazout, where he was General Manager of the Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay. In Spain, Armando spearheaded the Dolce by Wyndham Sitges Barcelona. Over the years Armando made sure he was involved in virtually all departments.   Many who worked with Armando have benefited from his eagerness to develop his team and to share knowledge, besides enjoying his friendly nature.   In addition to a solid operational background, Armando consistently keeps on developing himself. This included studying real estate and asset management courses at Cornell. Early on in his career Armando completed a degree in Hotel Management at the #SHL SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern.   With Armando’s friendly personality and broad experience in the hotel industry, the Hyatt Centric Hotel Murano is poised to become one of the most exciting hotels in Venice.   Armando joins at very exciting times, as Feuring keeps on growing its already impressive hotel asset management portfolio. Feuring extends its gratitude to its clients, partners and employees who are a key part of this milestone.   On May 15, 1959, Berno-H. Feuring started this journey full of passion and expertise for the hotel industry, being this the main foundation for our legacy and our heritage, which has been maintained to this day without losing its essence. Comfort, luxury and uniqueness are part of our DNA and have been the driving force behind our leadership. Our daily motto is based on adapting to the new challenges of the sector by redefining our commitment to our customers, always keeping in mind the vision of the founder of the company as the central element of the business supported by a team of excellent professionals passionate about the hospitality industry. Since then, Feuring has developed and advised on more than 450 hotels in Europe and beyond such as La Mamounia Marrakech, Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf and Hilton Frankfurt Airport. Under the management of the second generation, the company has succeeded in expanding further, laying the foundations for the management of major projects, and establishing the asset and investment management division, which now comprises a portfolio of 12 hotels in 6 European countries, with a further 5 projects under development and construction.
