This is the outcome of a huge effort of the whole team, starting with 👷🏻♂️ building a tool that complies with all EN 15804 and PCR requirements Andrei and Tom, 🎓 writing the tool report and coordinating verification Khadija together with Charlotte B. Merlin from FORCE Technology and lastly 🔗 integrating directly with EPD Norge's API so EPDs can be directly published to ECO Platform AISBL This is a big step on our mission to become the first product- and manufacturer agnostic fully verified EPD tool in the world - aka: AUTOMATING VERIFIED LCAs and EPDs AT SCALE 🚀🚀🚀 and we are happy to go this way with EPD Norge's team Håkon Hauan, Børge Heggen Johansen

This week, Emidat sparked discussions on embodied carbon in building materials at key events. 👷♀️🏗 Catch our Customer Success Manager, Jona, at the 68th BetonTage in Ulm Congress Centrum until tomorrow. Yesterday, he took the stage to explain the current challenges of creating EPDs and how Emidat's automated EPD tool effectively addresses and resolves these hurdles for manufacturers.🏗 In Brussels, Lisa joined Europe‘s leaders on sustainable building materials and EPD automation at ECO Platform AISBL, highlighting alarming statistics: - Building materials contribute 11% of global GHG emissions annually. - They account for 1/3 of global waste each year. - Our building stock is set to double by 2060. To tackle these issues, informed action is essential. Let's bridge the gap between data and action, echoing Jona's call: 'Von Daten zu Taten!' (from data to action!) 💪💚

Last week, we had the pleasure of joining Bton Group for their opening of the first factory for climate-positive concrete in Soltau. This groundbreaking facility represents a significant sustainability milestone, saving more CO2 than it generates.♻️ Since concrete production accounts for nearly eight percent of global CO2 emissions, we are enthusiastic about our involvement and being there to introduce Emidat.
