❤️Feeling privileged! What a week it has been for Common Goal! I feel privileged to have been part of it and to have played an active role in its delivery. 😀 From the 8th to the 10th we hosted the Berlin Forum, a unique opportunity to welcome our global community, coming together to use football to make a positive impact on the world! 🙌 Such a diversity of people and organizations, full of energy, goodwill and competences contributed to strengthen our Football for Good network and advance deeply meaningful topics. 🌏 Climate Action was one of the key topics discussed. I had the chance to facilitate and deliver several sessions and welcome inspiring partners on stage to share their experiences or deliver workshop (YFC Rurka Kalan, Fundación Tiempo de Juego, Football for All in Vietnam (FFAV), Spirit of Football CIC and Football Ecologie France). We worked on solutions around: - Adaptation of Sport for good infrastructures, a key question to protect assets and sustain the delivery of sport activities in the face of climate change (#MoveForThePlanet supported by adidas) - Engaging local communities and young leaders towards climate action - Programs and ideas to support the transition of communities hardest hit by climate change (focusing on social enterprises built around sport for good organizations, business models around circularity, water conservation, green energy) - Need to share capacity within the sector 🛎 A key milestone for sure to foster our actions! Special thanks to the following persons that joined me in the sessions Nguyen Hoang Phuong (FFAV), Jorge Jaramillo and @brayan garay (Tiempo de Juego), Gurmangal Dass (YFC Rurka Kalan), Antoine Miche and Nathalie Petzold (FEF), Andrew Aris and Joaquin Nanez (SOF), and those who keep raising the level of the game to accelerate climate actions with us Barney Weston and Elliot Arthur-Worsop (Football For Future), Alexei Rojas (Arsenal f.c.), Katie Cross (Pledgeball), Michael Arends (SV Werder Bremen GmbH & Co KG aA) Nice also to share also some moments with #BerlinForum
