Meet the #winners of the RWTH Innovation Award 2023 | Together with RWTH Aachen University, we recognize state-of-the-art technological innovations with substantial market potential via the annual #RWTHInnovationAward. The award aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and industry by translating innovative findings into practical applications. This year, our jury found that three teams deserved the award because all three technologies showed a lot of innovation potential. 🔹 Team "Co-reactive" (Andreas Bremen, Orlando Kleineberg) has developed a process for the mineralization of CO2, making it usable for the cement and concrete industry to create a sustainable cycle for industrial emissions 🔹 Team "OSPHIM" (Louisa Desel, Mauritius Schmitz, Yannik Lockner, Jakob Pesch) optimizes the setup process of injection molding machines for plastic parts using a flexible AI infrastructure, saving time and plastic material through direct data optimization at the machine 🔹 Team "NILETech" (Lennart Reimann, Niko Zurstraßen) developed RISE (RISC-V Instruction Set Explorer), an innovative solution to simplify the adoption of the open and license-free RISC-V processor standard for developers and businesses. #Congratulations to all the winners and participants for their innovative technologies!
