During the broadcasts of "Sportschau vor acht - Olympia-Quiz" - produced by Bildergarten Entertainment - from July 15 to 25, 2024, as well as during the Olympia broadcasts on ARD, exciting quiz rounds focused on the Olympic Games, their history, and the outstanding athletes will be available. Each quiz round in the app consists of ten questions, with detailed explanations provided immediately after each answer, enhancing both engagement and knowledge among participants. 🚀 Growing and Learning at #Droidcon / #Fluttercon Berlin 🚀 Last week, our team had the opportunity to once again attend droidcon and Fluttercon in #Berlin once again. Hosted at the City Cube Berlin, the conference brought together more than 1000 developers, including seven of our talented Appsfactory engineers, to dive into the latest advancements in #Android and #Flutter development. This year's main topics included: 📱 #Compose: Continuing to revolutionize UI design. 🌐 #KotlinMultiplatform: Enhancing cross-platform development. 🚗 #Automotive: The fastest-growing sector in Android development. Automotive technology with Android Automotive and AOSP was the main focus of the event. Major industry players like CARIAD (Volkswagen's software development arm) and Faurecia (the company behind Faurecia Aptoide Automotive, used by Mercedes-Benz AG and BMW Group) showcased their latest innovations. Fun fact: At our Appsfactory Android Meetup a couple of weeks ago, our developers spoke about these topics in detail. Our team absorbed additional valuable knowledge from technical talks and networked with the vibrant Google based developer community. These exchanges sparked fresh ideas and innovative approaches to tackle our daily development challenges. 📣 A special highlight this year was attending the conference with our partners from SWR, who we support in developing ARD Mediathek & Das Erste and ARD Audiothek apps. This collaboration strengthened our partnership and commitment to jointly push the boundaries of public media apps. Stavro Xhardha and I presented two topics. We covered: ✅ Kotlin Multiplatform  - What is KMP, what is different to pure native and cross-platform frameworks like Flutter & React - How you can start to develop your shared logic module that can be easily integrated in Android & iOS by keeping the presentation layer completely native - How we at Appsfactory approaches KMP in our projects to speed up development and to reduce costs for our customers ✅ Compose Navigation - How navigation started in the early days from activities & the fragment api over navigation components & 3rd party libraries to a type safe compose navigation - How to create custom navTypes for non-primitive arguments We enjoyed pizza, drinks, and great networking after the presentations!
