This year we have come up with a little #surprise for our friends, partners and customers around the world. To shorten the long way until Christmas the "agathon #advent calendar" is available from today. You can look forward to gifts, raffles and some homemade holiday fun with greetings from Germany. Almost a year has passed since we celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony - and our new building under the motto #agathonnextdecade shows tremendous progress. 🚀   The entire building with the inspiring appearance of a cube is already showing up with its 3 hall aisles and the 3-level administration building in front of it. The 6 huge silos for storing our raw materials have also already been erected. Preparations for the hall surface finish are currently underway, and once the concrete has hardened, the ABUS crane systems will be installed at the beginning of January.🚧   The aim is to move in step by step in the third quarter of next year after completion in the middle of 2024. We will ensure continuous or even parallel production in the old and new location so that our customers are not negatively affected by the move in any way.   What our customers and team can expect: - a building according to the GEG 55 standard - complete photovoltaic system at the roof to feed directly our production – allowing us to manufacture in summer periods the majority with solar energy - lean production & #quality supporting workspace  - a highly automated production - a new concept of material distribution within the production - a fully equipped #chocolate lab for workshops & analyses  - an #innovation center to serve material, product and process innovations - dedicated areas for creative design meetings    Apart from our extremely engaged & loyal agathon team we are proud to have and thank even our strong external partners for supporting us to realize this giant project:   Architekturbüro Michael Van Ooyen I Die Bauleiter I Brüninghoff I Knappmann I GD Elektro I Berns I ISRW Klappdor I HVB The picture shows a visualisation of our new building. #staytuned
